Hope all is going well at Mary Washington! We have a new immediate opening at SAIC in Dahlgren and thought I would pass it on and would greatly appreciate if you could let any students who you think would be interested know about the opening. We are interested in interns as well as full-time applicants.

We currently have multiple web-based applications in ASP/ASP.NET and SQL Server 2000. We will be transitioning to an Oracle database server per our customer’s request. The position will include migrating SQL Server Databases to Oracle and developing Test Plans and Test Procedures. Following the migration/transition effort the applicant will work directly with users to solve problems. Other responsibilities will include designing new Web pages with Oracle and/or SQL Server databases. The applicant will work directly with customers and team members to determine project scope and specifications and will be expected to analyze problems and develop technical solutions.
