What has to happen

Either:
1. Make attributes be able to be multi-value, or
2. Convert all imported attributes to OKM-scoped resources.
Integrate with Sindice so the user has a way to find and link to external sources.
Solve the HRN identification problem for imported data.
Intelligently hide edit widgets on a per-triple basis. (Until we integrate with Linked Data, which is research project n+1.)
Augment the publish procedure so that if we're publishing data about an external URI, we publish our own stuff with a sameAs.
Address the duplicate HRN problem.
