The OKM interface project: The design of an intuitive and easy-to-use collaborative knowledge base interface, so that even novices to the Semantic Web can effectively author RDF data in a distributed setting.
Design goals include:
- Present a view of a Semantic Web knowledge base that even non-initiated laypeople can use to browse and author information.
- Adhere to strict compatibility with Semantic Web standards, so that any SW-compatible data can be imported and browsed via OKM, and so that any data authored within OKM can be exported for use by other SW tools.
- Support an intuitive (non-language-based) "semantic query" interface so that even laypeople can form complex queries to answer intricate questions.
