Data Analysis
Two ways of answering our core research question:
- "card at a time": Determine whether there is a correlation between avg score given to a card (across all users) and avg response time for the card (across all user)
- "review at a time": Determine whether there is a correlation between the score of a review and the response time for that review (note: this eliminates all timer people from the data)
Usage data:
- How often did people use it per day (between the two groups)?
Survey:
- See which items are significantly different between two groups
Our vocab test:
- Total score -- diff between groups?
- Is there a correlation between the avg score for a Magpie card and the frequency with which it was gotten correctly on the test?
- <strike>For a given user, is there a correlation between their avg score for the card and whether they got it card?</strike>
Midterm test:
- Total score -- diff between groups?
