Our client, a family-oriented software development company with a quality-of-life work environment is looking to hire a May Grad to add to their .NET Development for their team. This position is located near Quantico, VA. US Citizenship is required.
This person will work on a customer-oriented team writing code with others on large scale, cutting-edge solutions to the USMC. As this person develops skills he/she will move into a role where they interface with the customer, gathering requirements and presenting solutions. He/She will help plan, design, develop, test, debug, and deploy highly-available applications using the .NET Framework 1.14/2.0/3.0 and SQL Server technologies.
Ideal candidates will have experience of object oriented programming with exposure to or experience with Microsoft .net platform.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform coding, debugging and testing. Work independently in a team environment. Consider and research emerging technologies to improve current applications, architectures and processes. Work in a collaborative development environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Candidates must be LOCAL to northern Virginia and able to commute to the Quantico area
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field; or equivalent experience.
- 0-1 year development experience with the Microsoft .NET platform, including C#, VB.NET, ADO.NET, and/or ASP.NET.
- 0-3 years experience with object oriented programming
- Ability to demonstrate proficiency with C#, HTML, Javascript, CSS, and HTML.
- Exposure to spiral development methodologies, multi-tier architecture and AJAX.
- Knowledge of SQL and experience with MS SQL Server would be a plus.
- Non-Tech Skills: excellent customer skills, strong verbal and written communication skills along with the desire and ability to work in a team environment
