As a foundation for creating the contradictory data functionality, we considered existing tools:

• OKM
• Semantic wikis, particularly OntoWiki (since this seems the closest to what we want to do)
• RDF browsers (e.g., Tabulator)

After weighing pros and cons, we decided to go with OKM, principally because the code base is smaller, we already have more knowledge of it, and spending time delving into one of these large 3rd-party systems is more risky. There are tradeoffs: with OKM, we will have to make more back-end changes (to use an RDF store); with OntoWiki, more front end changes (to make the interface work the way we want it to.)
