Open Up Class

1. Actor: Department Chair
2. Precondition: Actor Logged in and assumed role of Department Chair
3. Sunny Day Scenario:
   1. User is presented with form to “Enter Course Name”(Discipline, Course Number, Section), “# of Credits” and “Suggested Class Size”, “Attributes”(SI,WI,GA…), “Prerequisites”
   2. User is presented with a list of Classrooms that is capable of handling ‘Suggested Class Size’
   3. User Selects Classroom
   4. User is Displayed available days and hour’s classroom is available
   5. User selects days and hour’s in which course is to meet
   6. User confirms days and hours
   7. System blocks off days and hours on master calendar
   8. CRN (Computer Registration Number) is generated by system
4. Rainy Day Scenario:
   1. No Classroom Exists capable of handling class size

a) System Suggests dividing single class in multiple classes

1. 1. Room is not available at desired times

a) System Suggests selecting a different room if availability is not desired
